In 1990 she started making salt- glazed domestic stoneware and porcelain. All the pots are thrown on a wheel and some of them altered in the wet state, often made without a base which is added later. The range includes jugs, teapots, vases and bowls with decorative handles and knobs/ The pots are fired in a salt-glaze kiln in 1300 o C.
The spouted jugs were originally inspired by seeing a small Minoan jug in Create.
The forms are based on early Mediterranean ware. The colours range from a pearly blue to a rich dark blue, plus a whole spectrum of buff and oranges to a darker tan. Most carry the characteristic orange peel texture of salt-glaze.
