Philip Leach
He is the son of the late Michael Leach and grandson of Bernard Leach. He learnt pottery with his father before travelling to Iran where he taught for six years and, whilst there, also helped to set up student pottery workshops. In 1976 he returned to England and worked for Clive Bowen. 1979 he set up the Springfield Pottery with his wife Frannie.
